"Week 13 And Starting To See A Difference In Myself"Into week 13 and after staring at myself for long periods over those 3 months I am finally seeing a difference being made. People comment on how thinner I am looking which is great and much appreciated but I think the hardest thing is to realise that yourself.

Because don’t forget you do not see some people for a few weeks or months so they will notice a difference but yourself will have to look at you in the mirror everyday so seeing a difference is very difficult.

This week I looked in the mirror whilst naked (perish the thought) and realised that I really have lost a lot of weight and iam looking thinner. I was very happy to have that eureka moment so now it is making me even more determined to continue down this path.

I have lost another 1.5lbs/0.7kg this week slow but very steady progress. The other day whilst weighting out some ingredients for a homemade pizza I looked at exactly how much 1lb of something looks like.

I was shocked that it looked a lot. This is when I had another eureka moment if I am losing that amount of fat a week I am seriously doing something correctly. This has made me accept the fact that even though it does not sound much 1lb is a lot of fat to lose in a week.

At the gym things are going well apart from the instructor wanting me to join the ladies for a workout where he basically puts them through a boot camp for an hour twice a week. No thank you I am quite happy doing what I am doing at the moment.

If the time comes when I feel I need a push in the right direction then I might take him up on his offer as the only thing I have got to lose is some more weight. The tennis is still going well and we are getting better at it so we do not feel so out of place now.

Onto next week and hopefully another weight losing week for all of us. Good luck :D
