"This Is The Week For Me When I Have Weight Loss Depression"Don’t you just hate it on a diet when you have a slow week and you think it is going to take a lifetime to lose the weight that you need to lose?

Well that’s what I felt like this week when I jumped on the scales and realised that I had only lost ½ a pound.

I had such a good week on the healthy eating regime and had lots of exercise too and then when you see that you have lost just 0.3 kilos it can be rather depressing.

It’s so cruel because I was only 1 pound off a 1.5 stone weight loss and you feel so close yet so far away. My entire target has always been to lose 6 stone so once I hit 21 pounds (which I am now just half a pound off) it will be very nice to finally say I have lost 25% of my target weight loss dream.

So please, no maintaining next week as I would love the thrill of hitting that target already. Both the husband and I want to each lose 6 stone and he is doing much better than me and is already over a third of the way there.

Even though I have lost just 20.5 pounds I am also now less than a stone away from being no longer obese and just overweight. Which does cheer me up. At the moment I am averaging a weight loss of about half a stone a month so by the end of June I should be in that category.

I also feel myself toning up a lot more and often your weight isn’t always your first place to look for your weight loss. I put on my favourite summer shorts yesterday for a trip to the beach and it was lovely seeing how big they were on me. It just also feels so wrong to feel so good and have dropped a dress size with a weight loss of below 2 stone.

So let’s see how I get on and I will be back next week and hopefully in a better mood!
