My Weight Loss Tasty Pie To Success

"Tasty Pie To Success"For continuous weight loss that works you need to focus on a few lifestyle changes that will make you feel ten times better and most of all will restore your body so that you can fight whatever life has to throw at you.

By making just a few small changes to your life you can be much healthier and lose weight through your improved lifestyle without actually dieting.

It is great for the business person that has gone from one diet to another and would much rather just embrace a healthy lifestyle instead.

We have put together a weight loss pie chart showing exactly how we make the most of our time over the week!

The idea behind it is to make 7 simple changes to your lifestyle in order to get healthy and lose weight in the process without feeling like someone is holding your body to ransom.

So this how it works….

First of all here is my pie:

And as you can see I have made 7 very small changes to my lifestyle and they reflect my new healthy lifestyle that combined have resulted in my husband and I losing five stone so far.

The Airfryer

The Airfryer allows you to cook without guilt. You can cook most things in here and it uses air rather than fat. So you can have Slimming World chips all day if you wished. If you eat chips from the chip pan three times a week this can knock 600 calories a week, 2400 calories a month off your allowances. And JUST by following this change you can then lose ½ a pound a week or 26 pounds a year!

The Steamer

I love the steamer and every week day my husband and I have steamed salmon and broccoli for dinner thanks to our great quality steamer that we bought from Amazon. Whenever you read health articles about what to eat each week to cut down on common serious illnesses salmon and broccoli always feature high up on the list. By eating these and having them cooked in the steamer where they keep all their goodness is an amazing lifestyle change.

If you over eat or are a comfort eater or have more than 10 pounds to lose then this is right up your street. Say goodbye to diets and instead eat less and get hypnotized to believe that you are full much quicker. My husband used to over eat and now he eats under average and has lost 3 stone so far thanks to this one change.

Water

"Water"

I know you here this all the time but water is an important part of your daily healthy lifestyle. It replaces all the fluids that you lose and sorry but a cup of tea doesn’t count! Go for at least 2 medium bottles of water a day to start with and build up your water so that your body feels fresh and full of energy again.

15 Minutes Of Exercise

Did you know that 15 minutes of exercise a day is better than having all of your weekly exercise at once? My exercise drug of choice is the Wii. I love it and I am always doing something different on it so that I don’t get bored.

Its also great if you feel too embarrassed for the gym or like me have terrible coordination so the gym classes are out!

My favourites are the free step on the Wii Fit Plus and the Zumba on the basic Zumba class. I was amazed when I read recently that based on my current weight I burn more than 200 calories from 15 minutes of Zumba. Which in comparison takes me 43 minutes to do the same on the cross ski in the gym.

Sleep

"Sleep"

We are all extremely moody when we don’t get a good night sleep aren’t we? I am sure my husband would agree that I am a nightmare to live with and he certainly is. Aim to always have 7 hours sleep a night and have a glass of water before bed. That way you can be refreshed and looking forward to the next day and then your daily lifestyle will not feel like a real struggle.

Vitamins

I dread to think how much money the vitamin industry makes each and every year. But what if you could bypass them and get everything that you need in your daily diet? Having an orange for supper, a nice piece of steak on a Saturday night for your iron or other important vitamins. When you have nice fruit and vegetables in your diet you will feel amazing and you will find that you have an excellent improved body as a result.

To achieve this we find that the easiest way to do so is loosely follow the Slimming World diet and bring their fantastic free foods, healthy extras and recipes into our daily diet. They are all recipes that are easy to follow and great fun to eat – so they suit the average person without feeling like you are on a diet.

Imagine how much better your lifestyle will be with these small but important changes and I bet like me you could make these changes without feeling like you are making a huge effort.
